Nafir began in a workshop in Tjörnarp, Sweden, and grew outward from a quiet base of acoustic bass and low-strummed guitar into the atmospheric sound Stafrænn Hákon are known for. Magnús Freyr Gíslason sings throughout. It is the first Stafrænn Hákon record with vocals from start to finish, and the first sung entirely in Icelandic. Eight songs, just over half an hour.
