Lárus graduated from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts with a master´s degree in art education in 2017.
He studied the classical guitar at the College of Music in Iceland and musical instrument making at Emerson College, UK. Lárus has been working as an art teacher with special needs people in Iceland and has released 17 albums with ambient, experimental guitar, Icelandic folk songs, with special needs people and with home made musical instruments called earth-harps.
