Suð / Kókos is a compact new release by Stafrænn Hákon, built from old fragments, tape-minded instincts and songs that drift somewhere between warmth, repetition and low-key weirdness

Will be available digitally and as a very limited cassette edition of 30 copies (coming soon).
A small physical run for those who want the release as an object. Something to hold, keep, and play alongside the web-based 4-track experience.
Suð / Kókos continues in a space Stafrænn Hákon has circled for years: melodic repetition, dreamy weight, loose imagination, and a slight surreal bend beneath the surface. What begins as sketches, riffs or half-formed ideas is pushed into something more whole, not polished flat, but left breathing.
This release is compact by design. The player is part of the listening, the cassette is part of the release, and the page is meant to feel like a small standalone object rather than a long explanation.
